Interop Future-Proof SMSC, MMSC, WAP Gateway, and CSC Gateway Solutions

To Support Cox’s Wireless Services


FORT MYERS, FL.—Aug. 31, 2009—Interop Technologies, the premier provider of core wireless solutions for messaging, device management, and gateway connectivity, today announced that Cox Communications, the third largest cable operator in the United States, has selected Interop to provide the operator with solutions including the SMSC (SMS Center) 4 Series, Multimedia Messaging Center (MMSC), WAP Gateway, and the hosted Common Short Code (CSC) Gateway.

FUJIKURA TO UNVEIL NEW OPTICAL FIBRE IDENTIFIERS AT ECOC

New design and features improves ease of working with fibre


Fujikura Europe Ltd is to launch two new highly advanced and feature rich Optical Fibre Identifiers at ECOC in Vienna later this month (stand 417).


The FID-25R and FID-26R are thought to be the most highly developed Optical Fibre Identifiers yet to be offered to the market. Their high-sensitivity allows signal identification using G.657 Bend-Insensitive Fibres and they can isolate a weak tone signal under a strong traffic signal.


“The new identifiers represent an important new offering from Fujikura and we are expecting a lot of interest at ECOC,” said Fujikura Europe’s Sales and Marketing Manager Brian Leonard.

Other features of the new products include:-

• Single detector head for 0.25mm to 3.0mm coated fibres

• Optical power meter range of +10 to -60dBm featured on FID-25R

• 15 user-selectable test modes for a variety of field more
