Green power innovator upgrades line of outdoor enclosure products with new features to its 3030 enclosure and three new cabinets

RICHARDSON, TX – Aug. 31, 2009 – Eltek Valere today announced a significant expansion of its Support Site line of outdoor cabinet products, including a major upgrade to its 3030 family of tailored temperature managing equipment enclosures and three additional new smaller models.

These and all Eltek Valere outdoor DC power devices and enclosures will be on display in booth #717 at the OSP Expo in Minneapolis Sept. 2-3.

The upgraded 3030 cabinet is both front and rear accessible and front and rear mountable, featuring an optional separate battery chamber that enables carriers to minimize the footprint necessary for their equipment. All Eltek Valere 3030 family cabinet products offer carriers tailored temperature management with thermal systems that include air conditioners, heat exchangers and heaters.

“Carriers are constantly evaluating the most cost-effective methods for managing their outdoor equipment needs, looking to minimize the amount of space necessary for their systems,” said Armin Paya, Manager of Product Management for Eltek Valere. “These new cabinet solutions enable them to place more devices in closer proximity because of the flexibility offered by front- and rear-accessible enclosures.”

The new 2315 cabinet is optimized for small microwave radio systems and microwave backhaul applications, accommodating either 15RU or 21RU high equipment within a 23” x 15” footprint with both a front door and a rear access panel. It features bottom and side cable access in a pole or wall mountable form factor with the 21RU-model offering a pad mount option. Additional options include heat exchanger, air conditioning or fan/filter thermal systems, all configurable with various Eltek Valere power systems.

The pole- or wall-mountable Outdoor Telco Box provides 6RU of a 19” rack space and features a customized bottom entry plate that can support a variety of port sizes. The Outdoor Sector Box is a smaller, pole-mountable version occupying a footprint of 11.25” x 8”. All enclosures are designed in accordance with industry standard GR-487, “Generic Requirements for Electronic Equipment Cabinets.”
