DASH Carrier Services & VIXXI Merge Assets to Form Wholesale Carrier and Emergency Services Leader


This morning, Dash Carrier Services (DASH) and VIXXI Solutions announced an agreement through which the companies will merge assets and become a single-entity provider of Wholesale Carrier and Emergency Services under Dash Carrier Services.


Under the terms of this agreement, Dash CEO, Justin Nelson, will maintain his role as senior executive; VIXXI President and CEO, Christopher Camut, has been appointed to the Dash Carrier Services Board of Directors. The merged company will continue to offer services under the respective Dash and VIXXI brands, with all operations integrating under the Dash corporate umbrella in 2010.


Dash CEO, Justin Nelson, commented that, “This transaction is an extension of existing synergies between Dash and VIXXI, and allows both companies to move forward as a streamlined, fortified unit with the resources to reach a larger, global carrier audience.

Japanese optical fibre giant in search of medical equipment partner to champion fight against infection

Fujikura – world leading optical fibre manufacturer - comes to next month’s Compamed exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany (18 – 20 November) with a mission to find a medical equipment manufacturing partner to develop synergies incorporating low-cost, single-use imaging devices in a bid to help reduce the spread of infection in hospitals throughout the world.

Fujikura’s Applied Optics Division, which focuses on medical sector applications, is looking to increase and enhance the range of single-use devices available to the medical sector by developing products in partnership with medical equipment manufacturers.
