IXIA TO BUY AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES’ N2X DATA NETWORK TESTING PRODUCT LINE

CALABASAS, CA, October 21, 2009 — Ixia (Nasdaq: XXIA) announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement with Agilent Technologies, Inc.
