SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Jan. 7 — Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of SecureM, LLC and its wholly owned subsidiaries, together operating as SecureMedia®, a developer of software-based digital rights management (DRM) and security systems for IP video distribution and management. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close in Q1 2010.
