Qwest Communications International Inc. Announces New $1.035 Billion Revolving Credit Facility


DENVER, Dec. 21, 2009 – Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE:Q) today announced that it has entered into a new revolving credit facility. The new $1.035 billion agreement expires on Sept. 30, 2013, and replaces the company’s pre-existing revolving credit agreement that was scheduled to expire on Oct. 21, 2010. DAWSONVILLE, Ga. – Vice President Biden today kicked off $7.2 billion in Recovery Act broadband grant and loan programs, of which $2 billion will be made available on a rolling basis over the next 75 days to bring high-speed Internet to communities that currently have little or no access to the technology.
